Your local workspace
MedERP does not require an online account. Version 1.0 opens a local SwiftData workspace on the device and stores its primary business records in the app’s Application Support area.
Catalog + scanning
Import and identify products
Product and partner CSV import can bulk-create or update catalog records. Download the reference template in Settings first; it includes the required header and an example row.
- Products are matched by SKU during CSV import.
- Existing inventory balances are preserved by product import.
- Barcode scanning is processed on-device.
- A barcode can be entered manually when camera access is unavailable.
Backup + recovery
Protect the complete workspace
A manual .mederpbackup package contains the complete workspace. Restore validates the package into a fresh local store before promoting it, and retains the former workspace for rollback.
They can include company details, commercial records, inventory, payments, and wallet data. Store and share backup packages securely.
- 1Export
Create a complete backup package from Settings.
- 2Inspect
Choose a package and review its company and record summary.
- 3Restore
Confirm the company name. Restore replaces the current workspace; it does not merge records.
- 4Rollback if needed
Return to the immediately previous workspace while it is retained.
On Mac, automatic backups can run to a chosen folder or an already-mounted NAS while MedERP is open. Manual backup and restore remain available on the supported Apple devices.
